Wild Coyote Vineyard - Paso Robles

Gianni Manucci’s vineyard is at an elevation of 1,800 feet in the Adelaida area of Paso Robles. The property is about 20 miles from the Pacific, and as a result, sees large daily temperature swings during the ripening season. Daytime highs can reach well into the 90s while the ocean influence brings temperatures down to the low 50s at night. This fluctuation extends the growing season and contributes to the complexity and flavor profile of the finished wine. Manucci is attentive, farming his terraced vineyard in terms of pounds per vine instead of tons per acre. This limestone-infused property consistently produces dark, deeply colored fruit with intense flavors ideal for port. You can find Syrah from Wild Coyote Vineyard in our flagship Magia Preta blend.
