Cooking Suggestions:

 

Brownies - Substitute the required water with an equal part Negrette for a mouth watering twist on any basic brownie recipe.

 

Chocolate Cake - Replace half the required liquid with Negrette or Paso Melange for a velvety texture.

 

Chocolate Frosting - Add 1 to 2 tbsp of your port of choice. 

 

Raspberries or Blackberries - Soak berries in 1/2 cup of Barbera overnight. Add fruit to champagne, pour over vanilla ice cream or even add to syrup and enjoy over pancakes or waffles!

 

Holiday Stuffing - Not fond of cranberries or raisins in your stuffing yet love a bit of sweetness? Add one cup of Ruby Tradicional to the onions, celery and carrots when sautéing and you'll have a delicious and savory side dish.

Recipes:

 

Grilled Peaches with Port Reduction Sauce

 

Ingredients:

2 large, ripe yellow peaches

light olive oil

1/2 cup Roxo Paso Melange Port

1 tbsp sugar

vanilla ice cream

cinnamon

whipped cream

 

Heat grill to medium heat. Slice peaches into 1/4 inch rings and lightly brush with olive oil. In small saucepan, heat port and let simmer on low for eight minutes. Stir in the sugar. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Place peaches on heated grill. Grill for three minutes on each side. Scoop out two scoops of vanilla ice cream and place in desired bowl. Gently layer three to four rings on top of the ice cream. Drizzle the port reduction sauce sparingly over peaches. Top with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon. Serve immediately and enjoy!
